Directions: The third-generation, operating, Krutar ranch is located 55 miles east of Missoula and 70 miles northwest of Helena. Highway 200 runs through the southern portion of the ranch and the ranch buildings are visible north of the highway. The Krutar driveway is 5.5 miles east of Ovando, between mile markers 49 and 50, just east of the North Fork of the Blackfoot bridge on highway 200. Look for a sign with the words Homestead Lane. The Krutar home/office is a red house with white rock on the front and a white roof.
